How to Get Easy Legendary Shards in Destiny 2
Pretty sure it's to dismantle a ship or something. I don't think there is a farm rn.
Dismantle purple stuff, can be weapons can be armor can be ships and even shaders, point it is has to be purple.
DIsmantle legendary gear, buy legendary shards from Spider in exchange of destination resources. But if you have plenty of destination resources you can as well exchange 50 of them for 1 legendary gear.
Tower's vendors is the best place to farm legendary gear and dismantle them.
I must ask... *how* do you run out of shards? I have thousands of them and even when I infuse liberally I can't use up more than I get by sharing all of the undesirable gear I get.

Well... I've been farming the cryptarch for legendary engrams to try and get godroll worlddrop gear, like the Interference and the Last hope, and I was hoping to farm him until I got it, suddenly I was under a thousand shards

Yeah, that's a really wasteful use of the shards because you'll spend thousands and MAYBE get something decent. It's much better for your shard supply to just play the game and hope RNG favors you.
I can't remember if i used the Iron Banner to farm shards but i racked up like 300 purple shards in a week by playing crucible, dismantling drops and resetting my valor/glory rank

That's the plan! I know how that all works, I'm just wanting to stock tf up on shards for future seasons and stuff
you can also wait for spider to be selling shards for glimmer and grab a few
last season i played some gambit so i restocked glimmer quickly, so i went and emptied it there

Well in that case i would set a new 0 point. Like say you first save up to an 1500 or so and only the shards over that number you can then spend this season while leaving those 1500 alone. As if it woud say 0
